Fire strikes Halifax diner

Nov. 17, 2011, Halifax - A fire ripped through a Halifax restaurant building Wednesday night. The blaze at the Southend Diner on the corner of Barrington and Kent streets started at 10 p.m. and police shut down the streets while firefighters worked to extinguish the flames. CBC News reports.
