Firefighter completes Toronto marathon in full gear

Brantford, Ont., firefighter Kevin Bibby ran the Toronto Waterfront Marathon on Sunday in full firefighting gear to raise awareness about the danger of cancer that firefighters face, and the importance of wearing SCBA at all times, especially during overhaul operations. Bibby, who completed the 42.2-kilometre marathon in 5.5 hours, raised about $1,000 for Firefighters Against Cancer's Existence (F.A.C.E.). Photo by Mark Langdon.
