Firefighter union says response areas still not good enough
March 20, 2014, Cochrane, Alta. – The president of the local firefighter union in Cochrane, Alta., says the updated response area did not get to the root of the response problem. Cochrane fire crews are now able to respond to calls that occur outside the town's limits to the north, east and west, but still cannot respond to calls for assistance south of its border.
