Firefighters battle row house blaze

Dec. 1, 2014, Toronto - Fire crews were called out early Monday morning to battle a four-alarm blaze in downtown Toronto.

The fire is believed to have started on the back deck of a row-house in the city’s Kensington Market neighbourhood and then spread to four other units.

There were no reports of any people being injured, however, there were concerns that some pets may have been caught in the fire.

As many as 20 trucks and 90 firefighters were on scene at the height of the blaze.

A city bus was also brought in to shelter evacuated residents from the cold.
