September 10, 2021
By FFIC Staff
Led by the Toronto Professional Firefighter Celtic Society, over 60 firefighters — including colleagues from Hamilton, Oakville, Markham, Whitby, Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal, and Stephenville, Nfld., — will embark on a three-day cycling ride from Hamilton to Ottawa covering 575 kilometres — in wind, rain, or shine to raise funds and awareness for the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation (CFFF).
The Toronto Professional Firefighter Celtic Society ride has grown every year in participation numbers and in tributes to their fallen comrades.
The ride leaves Hamilton on Wednesday, Sept. 8 and ends in Ottawa on Friday, Sept. 10. The goal is to raise $50, 000 for the CFFF.
