Firefighters charged in fraud investigation
Mar. 1, 2017, Halton Hills, Ont. - Two firefighters, including one from Hamilton, are facing criminal charges related to an alleged scheme to defraud a fund for families of firefighters injured or killed on the job.

The Halton police fraud bureau announced Tuesday it has jointly charged Warren Atkinson, 52, of Newmarket and Colin Grieve, 58, of Stoney Creek, with two counts of fraud over $5,000, money laundering and attempt to obstruct justice. The Hamilton Spectator reports. | READ MORE
