Firefighters gather for memorial

Aug. 15, 2008, Toronto - Firefighters and other emergency personnel from across North America were gathering in Toronto Friday morning for the funeral of a fire chief who died at the scene of a series of explosions at a propane storage facility over the weekend. As Canada.com reports, representatives of all levels of government as well as public safety professionals such as police, emergency service personnel, soldiers and customs officers, were expected to attend the funeral for Bob Leek, 55, district chief of emergency planning with the Toronto Fire Services.
