Firefighters object to city’s stance on illness claims
Nov. 17, 2016, Kitchener, Ont. - Questioning the affordability of insurance coverage for city firefighters is "despicable," according to the union that represents them. In a press release issued earlier this week, the Ontario Professional Firefighters' Association objects to recent comments that the city can't afford to pay for the illnesses that are injuring "and even killing" their employees.
