Firefighting costs could rise under new provincial regulation

Feb. 20, 2014, Lake County, B.C. – Officials in Lake County, B.C., are concerned that the revised provincial building code, which requires firefighters to respond to a blaze at newly created lots in 10 minutes instead of the standard 15 minutes, could drive up firefighting costs.
