Funeral service for Deputy Chief Tony Lippers

Hundreds of firefighters from across southern Ontario paid respects Tuesday to fallen Deputy Fire Chief Tony Lippers of Caledon at a line-of-duty death funeral. Lippers died last Wednesday of complications from esophageal cancer. Firefighters marched from the local high school to the Caledon Community Complex where relatives, friends and colleagues told tales of Tony's integrity, his infectious laugh and his desire to establish a program to help families of firefighters who experience cancer.
