Gander seeks equipment and training for ice rescues

Jan. 31, 2013, Gander, N.L. – The fire chief in Gander, N.S., is calling on the town's council to approve the purchase of ice-rescue equipment and provisions for training, to ensure that ice water rescues can be carried out with minimal risk to responders. The Gander Beacon reports.
