The president of the Gatineau firefighters union in Quebec has been suspended for six months over remarks he made alleging that low water pressure hampered efforts to save a historic church that was gutted in a June 11 fire.

six months without pay over public remarks he made alleging that low
water pressure in city hydrants hampered efforts to save Aylmer's
historic St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, gutted in a June 11 fire. The Ottawa Citizen reports.
