Grass fire spreads to house

March 18, 2009, Woods Harbour, N.S. - With the last bit of snow finally melted, Colby Brannen decided Tuesday morning to burn some old grass from the front lawn of the house he had been renting for a month. As the Chronicle Herald reports, flames spread rapidly toward the house and by noon firefighters from two counties were battling the blaze in the two-storey home. READ MORE
