Halifax auditor targets tracking of fire vehicle use
Oct. 16, 2014, Halifax - A municipal audit has unearthed an information black hole related to
the use of non-emergency vehicles by Halifax’s regional fire department. In a new 36-page report,
auditor general Larry Munroe revealed that about 100 Halifax Regional
Fire & Emergency vehicles had little or no data related to mileage
