Dec. 19, 2012, Halifax – Police in Halifax have released two people arrested Tuesday as part of an ongoing investigation into the deaths of two men whose bodies were found after a fire at a hunting camp.

RCMP Sgt. Alain LeBlanc says the pair had to be released because they were not charged.

He says two search warrants were executed Tuesday at locations in Sheet Harbour and along Herring Cove Road in Halifax.

A fire in the Sheet Harbour area reported last Wednesday destroyed a building.

Firefighters later found the bodies of both victims in the rubble.

A few days later, police confirmed they were investigating a double homicide.
