Dec. 21, 2009 - Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency in Nova Scotia, under chief Bill Mosher took delivery in November of a Carrier Emergency-built tactical support apparatus. Built on an E-One Cyclone II chassis, the tactical unit is powered by a Cummins 425-hp engine and an EVS 3000 transmission. It is equipped with a 12,500-watt generator, a 6,000 watt command light and space for 45 spare SCBA bottles. The cab seats three and the walk through interior includes a command post.
