Boatyard blaze baffles fire marshal

Aug. 14, 2008, Halifax - An investigator has ruled out foul play in the fire that levelled the Covey Island Boatworks. As the Halifax Chronicle Herald reports, Tuesday’s blaze in Petite Riviere destroyed the boatyard and the Maggie B, a $3.5-million cruising schooner that had just undergone a refit after completing a voyage around the world.
