Hollywood screenwriter makes public education DVDs

Father
and screenwriter Daniel Taylor lives with the memory of fire engulfing
a neighbour's home and wants to help children who experience the
tragedy of fire and loss. Perhaps best known for writing the screenplay
for Robert De Niro's, The Score, Taylor has created a DVD series called
Rainbow Valley Fire Department to teach kids valuable lessons about
fire safety.

Notables, such as retired Chief Alan Brunacini from
the Phoenix Fire Department applaud the series. "The makers of RVFD are
doing a very righteous thing, teaching children across the nation
valuable fire safety lessons," said Brunacini.

RVFD teaches viewers about escape plans, fire equipment and fire prevention using graphics and cutting-edge 3-D animation.

Freddy the Fire Chief and Pam the Paramedic provide fun, entertaining
and memorable lessons, all peppered with a music and games. Funnyman
Tim Conway volunteered to be the voice Freddy the Fire Chief and B.J.
Thomas lent his musical talents to the series.
