Overnight fire destroys diner in Badger, N.L.

Jan. 15, 2018, Badger, N.L. - A favourite stop for many cross-island drivers was destroyed by fire overnight Sunday. Fire crews were called to the Badger Diner, a 30-year-old restaurant on the Trans-Canada Highway in the central Newfoundland town Badger, around 8:30 p.m. after reports the building was burning.
