Highrise blaze sends one person to hospital

Dec. 30, 2021, Hamilton, Ont. – One person is in hospital after a fire Wednesday evening inside an apartment at Vanier Towers on Hess Street South. Hamilton firefighters were called to the scene after receiving reports of a fire inside an apartment on the 17th floor, assistant deputy fire chief Steve Welton said.
