Highrise fire sends seven people to hospital

Toronto - Seven people have been treated for smoke inhalation after a three alarm fire in a second story unit of a north Toronto apartment building.

Three of the people are listed in serious condition, while the others sustained only minor injuries.

One woman was pulled from the building without vital signs but was revived by paramedics on the way to the hospital.

Fire crews got the call late Sunday night, with 13 trucks responding.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and the Ontario Fire Marshal has been notified.
