Highway crash in Saskatchewan kills two people

April 19, 2013, Midale, Sask. - Two people are dead and a third person has serious injuries after a collision involving two pickup trucks in southeastern Saskatchewan.

The crash happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 39 near Midale.

RCMP say firefighters were called in because the second vehicle burst into flames after the collision.

They say two females in one of the trucks died at the scene.

A lone male in the second vehicle was airlifted to hospital.
