Hitch step allows for easy entry to truck beds

July 2, 2010 - Step n Tow's receiver hitch-mounted step, ball mount, and winch mount system was designed for pick-up trucks used in firefighting operations. Constructed with heavy-duty, galvanized steel, the system includes a 2 and 3/4-inch by 7-inch non-skid foot-step mounted on an 18-inch swing arm that locks into position to allow easy entry to the truck bed for quick access to mounted skid units or other equipment. The hitch system will fit on virtually any standard 2-inch Class III receiver, has a 2-inch drop and 3/4-inch rise and is rated to 6,000 lbs., while the step is rated at 350 lbs.
