July 3, 2012 - The Houston Fire Department in British Columbia under chief Ken Thomson, took delivery in April from Rocky Mountain Phoenix of a Rosenbauer-built tanker. Built on a Freightliner M2-106 chassis and powered by a Cummins 300-hp engine and Allison transmission, the truck is equipped with a 1,500 IG water tank, Hale AP 425 IGPM pump, Rosenbauer 180 degree swivel dump chute, 150 watt HID telescoping floodlights, Whelen LED light package, Whelen siren and speaker package and LED ground and step lighting.
