Human remains found after fire near Ottawa

Dec. 11, 2014, North Dundas, Ont. - Authorities have found human remains after a house fire southeast of Ottawa.

Police and firefighters in North Dundas responded to the blaze around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The fire was put out but further investigation led to the discovery of the remains of one victim.

The Ontario Fire Marshal's office and the coroner service are assisting the investigation.
