Feb. 17, 2010 - The ChemPro 100i handheld detector for the field detection and classification of chemical warfare agents (CWAs) and toxic industrial chemicals (TICs), features has six more sensors than on previous ChemPro detectors to increase the number of chemicals detected, improve its sensitivity and decrease the potential for false alarms. The new TIC-ID library can identify common TICs such as ammonia and chlorine while the ChemPro 100i's  ITF25 library provides protection from some of the biggest military gas/vapour TIC threats. The ChemPro 100i ships with a five-year guaranteed cost-of-ownership plan. This extended warranty covers normal repairs and maintenance over the first five years of original customer ownership by non-military customers.  Like the previous ChemPro units, the ChemPro 100i can be stored indefinitely because it doesn’t need to be run once a month to maintain operability.
