Jan. 3, 2011, Boston, Ma. – Cole Hersee Company has been acquired by Littelfuse, Inc. of Chicago. The combined company says it will be well positioned to better serve OEMs and aftermarket customers in the heavy vehicle sector.

“This is a great fit,” said Donald Mayer, vice-president of Cole Hersee. “We think the combination with Littelfuse will enable us to bring new products and capabilities to our customers, and provide new opportunities to serve them.”

Cole Hersee offers a range of reliable electromechanical switches and electronic switching modules. It specializes in the heavy vehicle industry, fulfilling diversified applications for trucks, including fire apparatuses.
