Memorial service for Lt. Travis Guedes

Hundreds of firefighters from British Columbia and Alberta gathered on Sunday to pay their respects and honour the life and service of Salt Spring Island firefighter Lt. Travis Guedes. The husband and father of two died April 17 after a battle with brain cancer.

Hundreds of firefighters from British
Columbia and Alberta gathered on Sunday to pay their respects and honour
the life and service of Salt Spring Island firefighter Lt. Travis
Guedes. The husband and father of two died April 17 after a battle with

Salt Spring Island Fire and Rescue thanks all emergency-service workers who made the trip to bid farewell to their brother.
