Insurance rate hike shocks Cape Breton fire department

June 9, 2021, Port Hastings, N.S. – Insurance costs are rising for some Nova Scotia fire departments, including a Cape Breton station that saw its premium to cover its vehicles rise by more than 250 per cent.
