A crowd has kept watch over the Algo Centre Mall since part of the roof came crashing down Saturday, killing at least one person and trapping at least two inside.

Many are waiting for news of loved ones still unaccounted for, and say they're frustrated by how little officials are revealing.

Dominique Hould says residents have been "standing on pins and needles'' since the collapse.

Mayor Rick Hamilton called today's discovery a "deep, deep tragedy'' that affects the entire northern Ontario community.

Rescue crews continue to search for signs of life amid the debris but officials warn the chances of finding anyone alive are increasingly slim.
