Landfill blaze likely to cost more than $1 million

Nov. 27, 2013, Medicine Hat, Alta. – The cost of fighting the Westar Landfill fire is expected to be more than $1 million, as Hellfire Suppression Services digs into the 80-feet-deep fire to lift debris and extinguish flames and hot spots, says Cypress County. The Medicine Hat News reports.
