Legislation looks to strengthen Manitoba fire code

Dec. 5, 2013, Winnipeg – The province has introduced changes to the Fires Prevention and Emergency Response Act that it says would significantly increase maximum fines for offences under the act, such as failure to comply with the Manitoba Fire Code. The Westman Journal reports.
