Lesser Slave Regional Fire Service

June 8, 2010 - The Lesser Slave Regional Fire Service in Alberta under
chief Jamie Coutts took delivery from Safetek Emergency Vehicles of a
Smeal Fire Apparatus-built ladder truck in May. Built on a Smeal Sirius
chassis and powered by a 425-hp Cummins diesel engine and an Allison
transmission, the truck is equipped with a Hale 1,300 IGPM pump, Foam
Pro foam system, 400 IG water tank and a 75-foot aerial ladder. |
