Locating system aids RIT efforts

March 17, 2010 - The EchoTracer firefighter locating system provides a means for fire department rapid intervention teams (RIT) to significantly decrease the time it takes to locate a downed fire fighter.  The EchoTracer can be mounted on any SCBA or fully integrated into the ISI Z7 SCBA.  The Tracer device can be used as either a hand held device or attached to an ISI 3500 thermal imaging camera.
