Longtime Amherstburg firefighter passes away

Nov. 12, 2015, Amherstburg, Ont. - Firefighter Jason McLean died of Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma Cancer Tuesday morning. He was 40. “Amherstburg firefighters have been deeply affected by Jason’s death,” Fire Chief Al Reaume said in a news release. “Jason was a true professional and was greatly respected by his peers. We all want to express our profound sorrow to his wife and two children. This is a tragic loss to the family, the fire service and to the community.” The Windsor Star reports. | READ MORE
