Major fire damages Laval shopping centre

The fire broke out at about midnight in one of the establishments in the centre. located on Montée du Moulin south of Marcel-Villeneuve Ave. Damage seems to have been particularly heavy at a pizza restaurant in the centre.

Dozens of Laval firefighters were still fighting the blaze after sunrise.

There have been no injuries reported thus far and the cause of the fire remains unknown.
