Man charged with arson after thrift store donations set on fire

July 9, 2013, St. John's – Police in St. John's, N.L., have laid charges after someone set fire to donations left outside a Salvation Army Thrift Store.
Surveillance footage shows a man lighting the donations on fire at the rear of the building on Kenmount Road last Thursday.
The blaze spread quickly, causing moderate damage to the store.
A 27-year-old suspect was arrested Monday.

He faces charges of arson, damage to property and breaching a court order.
