Feb. 16, 2012, New Glasgow, Prince Edward Island. – Police are investigating the cause of a house fire overnight in New Glasgow, P.E.I.
The homeowner – a 52-year-old man – called 911 after waking to discover his home was on fire.
He was taken to hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
Police say the home was extensively damaged.
