Nov. 12, 2012, Toronto – Fire officials say a man in his 20s is being treated for burns after a two-alarm fire in a downtown Toronto building.
Firefighters say two other men were rescued from the roof of the building (near Queen Street and Spadina Avenue) after flames broke out around 6 a.m.
All other occupants were able to escape safely.
Authorities say they believe the fire started in a third-floor bedroom. The building held apartments as well as a street-level hardware store.
