Manitoba strikes fire-safety task force

Feb. 28, 2014, Winnipeg – The province of Manitoba has created a task force to improve fire safety in hospitals, personal care homes and other facilities. That includes a $7-million investment for sprinkler retrofits and other fire-safety upgrades, and $2 million for additional reviews, standards upgrades and other immediate actions.
