Massive fire engulfs three Calgary homes
June 23, 2014, Calgary - When Blaine Jansen heard a wind-like, crackling noise coming through the back door of his home, he went outside to investigate. A
fire was rapidly growing at his next-door neighbour’s home and, within
minutes, it had spread to the Jansen’s. He and his wife, Rebecca,
grabbed their two cats and Rebecca’s purse, and fled their house. The Calgary Herald reports.
