July 12, 2013, Saskatoon – Saskatoon police are investigating after Molotov cocktails were thrown at two homes.
Police say they were called after one of the homemade firebombs was thrown through the bedroom window of a house.
It started a fire, which forced adults and children inside to flee.
Police say someone saw a Molotov cocktail being thrown at another home about a half hour later, but it didn't start a fire.
No one was hurt in either home.
Investigators believe the same suspects may be responsible and officers are looking for two men and a woman who drove away in a white, two-door car.
It's the second time in less than a week that police have been called to investigate an attempted firebombing.
Early Sunday, two Molotov cocktails were reportedly thrown from a car at a Saskatoon nightclub. Witnesses reported a window being broken and found the devices outside the building.
Police are looking for three men who had been kicked out of the club after causing a disturbance inside.
