Three Canadian teams placed in the top five at the 2009 World Championship Firefighter Combat Challenge in Las Vegas last week including the first-place team from Moncton, N.B.

Nov. 25, 2009, Las Vegas – Five Moncton, N.B., firefighters won the
team event at the 2009 Firefighter Combat Challenge
in Las Vegas last week. Jamie Richford, Marcel Dupuis, Jason Bergeron,
Matt Dunfield and Collin Powers won with a time of 4:41.72, just ahead
of the team from Kamloops, B.C., which clocked 4:44:16. Canadians won
in the top male open competition, top male over 50, top male over 55
