Montreal blaze leaves nearly 4,000 without power

Oct. 3, 2019, Montreal – Power was restored to nearly 4,000 N.D.G. residents around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to Hydro-Québec. They had lost power as firefighters battled a blaze at MacMahon and Somerled Aves. The Montreal Fire Department advised people to avoid the area, which is at the southern end of Loyola Park.
