More B.C. firefighters head to Ontario
July 29, 2011, Kimberley, B.C. - As this rather damp, chilly summer continues, and locals complain about the lack of nice summer weather, Ontario is burning up. A summer heat wave has hit that province hard, especially the Northwestern region, where over one hundred fires are burning, mostly in wilderness areas, although many fly-in First Nations reserves have been evacuated. The Kimberley Daily Bulletin reports.
