More firefighers facing charges in ransacking of city hall
Oct. 10, 2014, Montreal - Another 13 people will be charged in connection with the Aug. 18
protest at Montreal city hall, where dozens of municipal workers stormed
council chambers, broke windows and allegedly assaulted a councillor.
Eleven of the 13 are firefighters, said vice-president of the Montreal
firefighters’ association. They will be charged with mischief and
illegal assembly. The Montreal Gazette reports.
