New fire chief ready for challenge

Jan. 17, 2012, Halifax - Halifax’s new fire chief has to find almost $2 million in savings in the budget he has to present to municipal council. Chief Doug Trussler, who began his new job at the start of the year, has been told to keep his costs at the same level for the municipality’s March budget. The Chronicle Herald reports.
