North Bay firefighters no longer administering naloxone during COVID-19 outbreak

April 2, 2020, North Bay, Ont. – North Bay firefighters are no longer administering life-saving naloxone to the public during the COVID-19 outbreak. Fire Chief Jason Whiteley said the stoppage is due to the closeness required to deliver naloxone and the unpredictability of patients’ reactions, including coughing.
