Nova Scotia department names first female fire chief

Oct. 19, 2011, Blockhouse, N.S. - The volunteer fire department in this community has elected its first female fire chief. Paula MacDonald is also said to be the first woman in Lunenburg County to hold the position. Southshorenow.ca reports.
