Occupants, firefighter treated for smoke inhalation
Aug. 3, 2009, Toronto - Eight people were treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a high-rise apartment building in the west-end of Toronto.

Toronto police say the blaze overnight Saturday was confined to one apartment, but smoke spread throughout the building.
Seven of those who suffered smoke inhalation were residents, the eighth was a firefighter.
Some residents were ordered out of their apartments, but police say the blaze was quickly extinguished so the entire building was not evacuated.
The cause of the fire is not known.
